Love Is An Antique

Love Is An Antique

A Poem by Creepy Swine Guy

Pre-description is against my policy. Wanna know what it's about ... READ it.

"
Love is an antique,
That thing that every household used to have
But  has now become much too rare.
Some houses still have this thing.
We call them "Homes".

In these homes this rare thing can be multiplied,
So that each child has it, to keep for the homes that
they make one day. But it is oh so very fragile.
Given to the wrong person, it can be chipped.
Do this too often and you can lose it forever ...

... be left with no more to give.

This is an interesting thought...I picture it now as a lovely, but very fragile, teacup with many small spidery cracks where it has been smashed and someone has tried to glue it back together. Some parts are bare, worn to dust where it has been dropped too many times and can no longer be mended. Some hearts need so much more than glue to knit them back together.
