Have you ever walked the sodden soil beneath and wondered who we really are?

The reasons why this humble earth we mar

 

And have you ever looked at the stars, and wondered what you gaze upon?

A celestial dance of the moon and sun

 

Has sunlight kissed your velvet cheek?

And moonlight lit the land beneath

 

Sunrise warmed a chilling dawn

Sunsets consummate a romance drawn of a blooming princess and her adoring pawn

 

One brings darkness, the other light

But who should dictate which is right

 

This love forbidden can never be

For only a moment one another seen

 

And so we gaze at the stars above

Not for the meaning of life but the meaning of love
