![]() From Start to FinishA Poem by TheBubbleManiac![]() Ever had a good friend who began to go from an innocent flower to a thorn bush?![]()
Last year of elementary school
Met you with a nervous look Your nose stuck in an interesting book I stood staring at you with an interest My feet led me to you Voice cracking while a spoke You were quite amused I felt kind of proud We were young So carefree and little We didn't know about the real world We just carried on with what we had Everything changed the next three years Especially you and your emotions A bit unstable and confused Deep in a black hole where it was hard for me to reach Tears rolled down your face once Making me wonder what could be so wrong What in this world is making you sad? Then I saw the wounds on you It started with something small We were so young We were starting to see the real world It was scary and I did not know what was in store Then we grew even more You started to get better Then you started to meet new people People I had a bit of interest in Those strange new people were okay I got to know them better Which didn't turn out great My heart started to shrink I could not believe what was happening Why would you do such things? Is it my fault? It is isn't it? I believe I went wrong somewhere I said something I shouldn't have Or maybe you are starting to dislike me Why won't you tell me why you are doing this? It helps you They always say that don't they? I mean when you say it helps It really just hurts you in the end We are straying And this time I feel like it will be permanent Will it? If it does, then I will be lonely Can you not hear my pleas? I cry every night knowing what has happened My cries will never reach you You will turn them away and go Leave me I don't care But when I leave this world What will you do next?
