Hell can wait

Hell can wait

A Story by Isaiah Dunn

Ive been wondering why I’m so quick to fold on the things I want. But then I understood why I’m so quick to give. I never planned on being alive this long. Most days I’m still surprised I’m here. But if I can still help those I love. Then I guess the fires of hell can wait another year.

WHEN WILL IT END
All around me, hunger, sadness, and depression
No home
Friends and family abandons me
Except one
Pride and knowledge of right over wrong is my strength
Truth shields my very soul
I move on looking and desiring my last breath
Because then I'll know peace and rest
Loneliness has become my unwanted armor
Life and suffering has become numb
