Unrequited Loathe

Unrequited Loathe

A Poem by Sibling
"

Sumchin for the sumchins... I think...

"
I looked into your eyes
And saw the rising Sun.
They glimmered with hope,
For the night was done.
I heard you speak.
Your voice was like the
Beautiful chirps from birds
In the morning,
I longed to peck at your beak.
And then behold :
My Heart's reach
Falls fingertips short
Of grabbing yours.
Your smile keeps me captive
Your aura captivates.

But still I am not set free
Of my incarcerated emotions.
As I was about to release them,
I realized that your eyes
Were not on mine, then,
Your day turned into night.
I watched your sweet song
Turn into hideous croaks.
I saw the light within you vanish,
And the Night take hold.
My heart is now darkened
Tarnished like the Moon's
Majestic face filled with craters.
I drown in the abyss of being
Affectionate to a stranger.
LOST you are to me,
I seemed to vaguely know you

But we never met.
