Void

Void

A Poem by Sibling
"

Emptiness conveyed through spokenword because I write this on a whim.

"
VOID

I am a void. I am empty.
The entity that is me bears nothing.
I am bare.
I am a black hole in the Universe,
My Soul is compressed by nothingness.
I am dead.
I am dead but I breathe,
Walk, talk and even smile
But the kaleidoscope of living is dull.
I am numb.
I am numb to feelings
Of fright, fury or ecstasy.
Intense emotion and intimacy
Are non-factors of my existence.
I feel my resistance to losing
My sense of feeling slowly diminish.
I am non-existent.
I am a figment of the imagination
Of family and friends.
Perhaps to even familiar strangers
I am a delusion -
A delusion with real dimensions.
I am a delusion with dimensions
but I am indentured to a different plane.
Perhaps I am not meant to exist -
But I do.
I do exist but I lead a lost life.
My journey to death takes a detour.
Nevertheless, I exist to fulfill
Emptiness.
A wholesome hole of nothingness.

I am a VOID.
