Imagine: A Headache

Imagine: A Headache

A Poem by Sibling
"

I was sick and had a throbbing headache which inspired me to write in similes and metaphors.

"
Imagine :
A million treading boots,
Trooping beyond enemy lines.
Or perhaps,
Planets crashing into each other -
The tides of their magnificent
Magma,crawling on the corroding crust.

Imagine :
The impact of atomic explosions
Or subatomic collisions.
Or perhaps,
A melting chunk of polar ice -
Falling into a frosty ocean
Of it's cold beginnings.

Imagine :
The pain and perils
Of beaten drums.
Or perhaps,
The misery of music
Made by taut strings
Being melodically strummed.

Imagine :
Being out of tune.
Out of sync with the Universe.
But perhaps,
The notes played are composed this way.
Wearisome in my solitude.
Silently stalked by headaches.

PAINKILLERS.
