Distant Lands.

Distant Lands.

A Poem by Sibling
"

I zone out a lot.

"
Tonight,I looked at the sky.
It was dark.
Although there were stars in sight,
They did not shine as bright
As they usually do.

It was dark. It was purple.
I did not see the moon.
It must have been dancing elsewhere,
Where the stars shine
With untidy hair.

Tomorrow,I will look at the sky.
It will be day.
There will be light.
It will shine on clouds so grey
And they will turn white.

Then it will rain.
The soil will sing and the stream will dance.
I will not look at the sky then.
My thoughts will be away
To DISTANCE LANDs.
