Into the Light

Into the Light

A Poem by TheJordBaker

As darkness comes into the light
take your time, sink on down
into one of your made up worlds,
as the hottest rays sink into skin
and change you to dark from light.

At the edge of heaven is space to fall
as even the greatest angels may.
Come find us down in The Fading
where the darkness comes from light,
for a moment soaked in grey.

I got the feeling from these lines that the dark clouds have all but disappeared, swept away by the light and the emerging sun. Says much too about the emotions people have. Working their way through the darkness into a lighter mood. Nicely conveyed.

there is so much grey area in life...decisions, results of them....interactions with others...so many questions that arise...but knowing and feeling the light is close...we can survive that grey...
and find the light of our own world...
