Hard To Say I Hate You

Hard To Say I Hate You

A Poem by Krissy
"

Everybody must make a sacrifice at least once in their lifetime, but how can you determine when your sacrifices can destroy everything you hold most dear?

"
It's hard to say I hate you... but maybe it's not true.
Everyday, I remind myself of what I've sacrificed for you.
And everyday, I realize that my sacrifices were mistakes.

I used to think my family was rock solid... but maybe the cracks were just too deep to fix.
I learned the hard way not to believe everyhting you see and hear.
They blame me for their failures... but I expect it.

After you become desensitized, you find it hard to feel.
You push away your pain- and there's.
I wish many people were still here with us- but they die, as we all must.

I realized that I can't hold your faults against you any longer.
You never were fully human... you never will be.
So I'll take the blame from you- and place it upon myself.

Just a little poem I wrote when I was feeling angsty a while ago. Constructive critisism always appreciated :)
