We evolved where we were

And we wanted to move,

We conquered the land

The sea,

The air, and time,

In between we learnt to kill

Each other.

that's the short version...the longer version is that we pay and pay and pay, and justice is an ingredient of the creation

and that is unfortunately the legacy that trails humankind in rivers of blood~
poignant in its brevity~ sharp and hits right to the core~
