Love's End

My friend just recently went through a heartbreak so I wrote this

Love's end is a painful thing It leaves us feeling lost and alone A once bright flame, now dimmed and cold A heart once full, now empty and old

But though love may end, and our hearts may break We must remember, that it is not the end of our fate For out of the ashes of love's end, we can rise And find new love, and new light in our skies

So let us not fear love's end, but embrace it As a new beginning, and a chance to start anew For though it may hurt, and our hearts may ache Love's end is not the end, but a chance to make.
