Breathtaking

Breathtaking

A Poem by TheUnforgivinFallenAngel

My dearest, here I am planning
a trip down the lane to the sea,
in August as the sun is shining
and you're there to comfort me.
A breathtaking fantasy.

Over the fields we will ramble
picking fruit from God's bramble
soft fruit for jelly & blackberry pie,
oh happy day ~ sing I, sing I,
as my eyes point up to the sky.

We should be well-nourished
with His gift of the purest,
edible berries, and vitamin "C"
giving us strength and vitality,
ever to be in love you see.

My dearest, here I am planning
a breathtaking trip to the sea,
down lover's lane so beguiling,
berries will grow wild and free.
A breathtaking fantasy

I think the title just says it all. This truly is a breathtaking poem! It's liberating, calm, poetic and absolutely gorgeous. The words just flow in nicely and tucked in. Great write!

So beautiful and simply lovely. I really liked the way you flowed with this poem. The rhymes and words made it so much better. I especially liked the line:
"A breathtaking fantasy" In the intro, and last stanza.
Great job :)

:) So very beautiful and romantic. I am such a sucker for romance. This is just so adorable and very, very passionate. It almost seems to me to be a honeymoon between two starry-eyed people in a burst of imagination and creativity. Like flying toward the stars and back down to earth so your toes may sink into the sand. Very romantic once more.

Awwwww!
This poem is soooo sweet!
It reminds me of picnics and love boats and(for some odd reason)
the colors light blue and purple.
I think the end got me the most
"A Breathtaking Fantasy"
Some girl is really lucky!
