I miss you still.

I miss you still.

A Story by TheWorldInMe
"

To be honest this was written as a joke about my hairline but low-key it's about a girl I loved but couldn't treat right. Just changed up the ending a bit.

"
I was too brash and too bold.
Where you would weave yourself into shield to keep me warm; I would abandon you in the most frigid of winter air. When you stood tall and strong! I would hide you. and when you grew weak with suffocation I would cut you out. Knowing you'd come back. You would always come back.
But I was too brash.
You would always come back.
And I was too bold.
You would always come back.

And then one day you didn't. THE FIRST THOUGHT THROUGH MY HEAD WAS WHY? WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE ME WHEN YOU KNEW I WAS NOTHING WITHOUT YOU.
But that thought would fade,
and in its wake realization would return and with it, I could see my flaw.
I was too brash.
I would cut you out.
And I was too bold.
But only part of you would return.
Even though I can comprehend why you left nothing feels right in my head anymore.
I miss you.
Do you know that?
Do you know how much my heart yearns?
I hope that one day you'll return.
One day you'll come back to me.
Sincerely,
The one who doesn't deserve you.
