Twenty Stories High

Twenty Stories High

A Poem by The_Last_Spartan
"

It's a little immature; it's one of the very first poems I wrote.

"
The birds flew by,
as he died inside.
The wind blew,
as his soul cried.
With no purpose of life,
Twenty stories high,
he decided to die.

Wow, this was really good. Short, simple, and to the point. It conveys so much emotion in just a few simple lines. Great job!

I found this poem very depressing...which is good! I loved the imagery that you put into your poem and the internal conflicts as well.

Does that make me amateur if I loved it?
