Awaken

Just a poem I wrote about how people get consumed by fiction and forget themselves, I wrote this from personally experience, but I was one of those who where lucky enough to wake up.

I need to wake up,
before this becomes my reality,
before I lose my sanity,
before my world is destroyed around me,
before this life ends,
before I become pretend,
only then,
Will I awaken?
