Hungy & Mean

Hungy & Mean

A Poem by The River Man

 A secret since you knew
A little white bird
Then it grew
Into a predator seeking prey
From over the mountain
Where all was new

Sensations of strange lamentation
An abbreviation of the deep
Fresh and fertile germination
After a seemingly eternal sleep

Rhetoric and satirical musings
Find their way around the dreary streets
Brightening the eyes and ears of the meek
A place to stand for the weak

Threatened by day break
The glowing strange stay
On the edge of oblivion
The end of what we have done

About
Just a passive observer who drops his thoughts at his heels. Occasionally dipping my quill the communal ink, and making my mark on the common parchment. more..
