It'll never reeally end with

PEACE!

HAPPINESS!

 

Somehow Johnny never

came back home

His head is gone

Coffin is closed

HIs mom screams far too long

for her already dead son

 

It starts with ANGER!

It starts with PAIN!

It'll never reeally end with

LOVE!!

GOOD!

 

For a soldier

life is hard

He might leave a child

Fatherless!!

Or his wife

Widowless!!

But love is better than hate!

And he'll always come

HOME!

I think I get the message. Maybe redo the stanza order. Place the 'it starts' stanza together or use them as 'bookends' one in the beginning and the other as the last stanza. Maybe help the overall flow of the piece.
