Happy Faces

Happy Faces

A Poem by The Creation
"

this will be the last poem i will be posting on this site. enjoy and goodbye.

"
I'll Leave this world with grateful hands,
And enter my own imaginary lands,
Lands of beautiful places and smiling faces,
Of thoughtful words; a place where grace is,
But do I belong in this world,
Is my smile not wide enough to be seen?
My voice not loud enough to be heard?
In truth I am nothing but bland,
Nothing but ever pouring grains of sand,
In reality what is it that I see,
In this mirror that speaks only truth,
Is it the cruel monster I think is myself,
Or is it something different altogether in itself,
What is this that my blurred vision sees?
In this meadow painted with flowers and bumble bees,
My family, lover, acquaintances and friends,
Why are they present in this place with no end?
Happy faces on all but me,
They all float away so peacefully,
Happy faces pulling me in close,
It seems I am the one that's touched the most,
In light of this change it has come to mind,
"Now forever feels such short a time."
