If Depression Had a Name

If Depression Had a Name

I got something on my mind
Anxiety
Worry
Comes in burst of wind
It seems
Deep breath
Focus on present
I tell myself
Past comes knocking
Future is not far behind
I lock the door fast
They come rapping at my window pane
I turn on loud music
Maybe that can drown out my pain
Pretending to be strong
Fearless
Brave
Gets tiresome
Sometimes
