Snow White

Not a once upon a time.

The tale we all know, 

starts with once upon a time.

Skin as white as snow,

Ebony hair, red lips.

Her stepmother, plotting her death,

and her, innocent as faeries in the forest.

But if the tale, doesn’t

start with once upon a time.

Skin a colour of deadly white,

Lips, colour of crimson blood,

Hair, black as ash.

She, gave her mother,

the shoes of death,

burn her feet, exhaust her.

And there she watch, with her newlywed,

her mother’s despair.

Have you heard?

She sent her mother to death.

No, but it couldn’t be her.

Not the innocent Snow white.

Yes, that is the invitation of "Once upon a time." The suspension of reality to rest our minds. Really like this. Would not have thought of reversing the story to raise the question Thanks.
