Journey trough the Mysteries

Journey trough the Mysteries

A Poem by DaVoid
"

Misadventures in Legendary land.

"

Garderobe of silence surrounding me.
Demons are shouting. Blame another wretched being.

The path wrings around the tree. Follow the white rabbit home.
Dust gathered a thousand years on top of tomes I still need to read.

Cerebus, my old friends I still need to feed. Faeries dust sprinkled all around. Sneeze and blaspheme, the ancient guards found out. You snottered too loud.

Gnome on silk socks sneaking back. Stealing just one tome, taking it home.

Clockwork inventors working from abroad. Heaving a treasure chest on board.

Crocodile follows every word. Hearing the ticking of the clock.

Pinocchio lost and alone. Dark clouds pack where the wolf can't blow. All men are pig.

Build me a house that stays. Mother bear: Where is my porridge?
Kill that wretched child.

No child is safe. Run away!

Follow the stars. Don't turn back lets the shadows turn you a slave. Let yesterday be yesterday. Hades has enough souls to last for a decade.

Burn your ashes and your clothes. Leave no trace.
Retreat inside a Holy day.

Miss Fortuna. Mora milako mis tipora koli ma ti tipa lo niniwa ey.
Trapo hilium minora rara tipikora galora wampa ey boli nis....

Namste!

Don't expect me to make meaning of what magick I cast.
Your brain is looking for patterns anyway I just saw the seeds of destruction of an old age.

Old fools in ragged clothes forecasting the storm.
Cloaked goes lady Sophia.
Her servants sitting in their white marble thrones.
A old man passes by.

The shadow and the sage.
I turn another page.

Great spectrum of old age widsom to contemporary tones. I interpreted some real depth and thought all the way through. You kept the motif woven throughout and ended it in two nice phases; duality is inevitable and life goes on. Using relatable idiosyncrasies for a more resonating read was a nice touch.

great read.
