Letter to Fear

Letter to Fear

A Poem by Jessica Slatton

Fear,
Why do you sit at the bottom?
Dormant for so long, just waiting,
Waiting for that moment
Where everything goes wrong.
Why do you eat away what I hold within?
My heart, My soul, and then,
Then you spill out through my skin

One of my favorites! I love this one and can keep reading it over and over. Fear plagues us all and you captured how most us feel.
