Siete Pajaros

Siete Pajaros

This morning I walked

and saw seven birds,

siete pajaros,

lined up on a bare branch

of a tree

waiting for something.

They stared at me silently

with piercing black eyes;

without a sound

without a word.

So I turned away.

As I looked back,

there are still seven birds,

siete pajaros,

lined up on a bare branch

of a tree

waiting for something.

I pictured these as crows.
I like this alot, it just captures a moment, one that I've noticed myself and I always wonder " Is this a sign of some sort?"
Very nice work
thank you

Those darned birds! I tell you, they make me wonder sometimes just what it is they are up to. The stare, and the bountiful amount of them! You are an observer...and you do a nice job expressing all that you have surmised.
