At the Cashtion household Melody Cashtion's life was perfect. It was until  a family accident that changed her family's life. You see, Melody had a secret. asecret she kept from her daughter. Melody and her friends had a neihbor who they thought was dangerous. 

Alex Wheeler. Alex had secrets. One in peticular. He had been in jail, for child abuse. Alex abused over 30 kids before melody and her friends found out. When she found out that he was going after her kids she and her friends cornered him and stabbed him to death. 

Melody thought that he was gone. Done hurting children.  But she was wrong. The nightmare had only just began.
