A short remembrance of insomnia and tiredness

"
Hey Pacheco, isn't it time to sleep already?
Hey Pacheco, aren't your eyes weary and your soul sleepy?

Hey Pacheco, are you still awake? 
Hey Pacheco, didn't you wish I was asleep?

There is no real reason for me to sleep and for you to remain awake, is there?

May you accompany me in this bizarre voyage that insomnia is?

There's nothing quite like insomnia, is there? I love how you describe it as a "bizarre voyage" because it really does feel like you have been on a journey. I don't know if you meant it this way, but I read it like the narrator is asking themselves these questions, asking why they cannot fall asleep. I really like both the simplicity and accuracy of the poem.
