A Demon named Allusan Part 1

A Demon named Allusan Part 1

A Poem by Trosque
"

A short story/poem I came up with inspired by dreams I used to have as a child.

"
I don't know why it exists or why it is,
But there is beauty in darkness that will never cease.
My eyes have never seen something of such wonder,
And how I haven't seen it up until now is something I still ponder.

It all started when a man came to my door,
All he said was "hello", and dropped a coin on the floor.
Its symbol was of a mansion just outside the city,
I decided to find the man, and reveal his mystery.

As I arrived at the mansion, the world became a blur,
Mother nature was restless, but I was not deterred.
The man at the gate, was old and grey,
He stared at me with a look of dismay.

My heart nearly stopped as the doors revealed,
An atmosphere that felt morbidly evil.
I pushed through and carried on, following the old man in grey,
He lead me to the dining room, sat me down and said, "The Master is on his way".

With his first step into the hallway, the lights became dim,
And underneath the coat, the man was tall and thin.
His eyes were darker than the deepest shade I've ever seen,
He slowly made his way towards me, inducing darkness in reality's seams.

His dark facade was shattered, as he looked at me and laughed,
Then all of a sudden, a deep pain, in my soul made me feel starved.
The coin I wished to return, had sunk itself into my skin,
Fire engulfed me as he whispered his name into my ear.... "Him"....

I awoke to find myself covered in blood with a carnal sense of relief,
The mansion I tried to return to disappeared to my disbelief.
But ever since that day, I'll never forget the man,
Who cursed me with a lust for blood, and named me Demon Allusan...
