Something i wrote a while ago for a friend based on her relationship at the time

Funny Love

Hmmm

Do we laugh

Do we cry

Do we take the time to wonder why

Why didnt go as planned

Directing our love to this future we planned

Branded into our brains

The love we still share with no restrains

Finally seperated

Love still burning deep

This hill we've been climbing begins running steep

We shared our love both bodily and souls

Hearts intertwined

One with a black hole

A whole from hurt

A whole from the love we couldnt sustain

But here we are love still strong

We laugh

I cry

We Laugh

You sigh

Should it have ended

Or was it a love that was meant to be broken and then mended

With memories and love still catching flames

Love is funny and will forever remain

But trust threw the lust it'll still be the same

Love how you totally capture all these very real feelings that we all experience! You go into every emotion that we feel during our own little love experiences. What you might want to try is adding a return (blank line) between "A whole from the love we couldnt sustain" and "But here we are love still strong" so that the readers aren't too intimidated by a long line of writing. Also, I don't know if its a typo or not but the 6th line is "Why didnt go as planned" when it should probably say "Why didnt it go as planned", just so it flows well. Otherwise, really well written!
