I'm Into You

No one ever feels like being alone. And this was my poem to reassure myself.

I am the voice inside your head
I am the pain inside your heart
I dwell in all your being
Taking over each and every part
I am your guilty conscious

I am the answer you make quickly
I am the ugly truth and mess
I make sure you never lie
So you never second guess
I am your last bit of integrity

I am your star that never falls
I am the tear that won't hit the ground
I defy all the laws of man
So your cries never make a sound
I am your one and only miracle

I am a shoulder for you to cry on
I am the one that wipes your tears
I stand for you no matter what
And I fight away all your fears
I am your best friend

I am in the very back of your mind
I am your song bird in a cage
I get laughed at when exposed
Unleashing all your inner rage
I am your ever-expanding imagination

I am the one that wakes you up
I am what makes you write these words
I can make you do anything I want
We could fly forever with the birds
I am your motivation

I am in every beat of your heart
I am the DNA in each skin cell
I make up your entire existence
And as if you couldn't tell
I am... you
