The Party

All good things happen at the wrong time.

It's 10 o'clock at night and the guests start to arrive. It's completely weird that out of all sorts of parties, DB wants to have a costume party. It's ok with me though because I have the perfect outfit. I dress up as a pin up girl. I dyed my hair Jet Black, put my bangs in the front, straight inside curve, and the rest was nice and wavy.

I was a little light on the make-up with black eye shadow, a little bit of eyeliner and bright red lipstick with a hint of shine. I had a retro red dot garter with a black lolita satin skirt. And for the stockings I went with the classic christmas stockings with red satin ribbon bows and for the shoes, my favorite pair of black open toed stilettos with a black bow.

Now I ain't no s**t so to cover some... most of my goodness I got that awesome inside out trench coat, you know the one that Blade always wears and on the inside it's red.... yes red and black are my favorite colors.

I wanted to be a belly dancer but that'd require showing my tat on my back. It's a giant Phoenix on fire. It starts from my side and twirls to my back and a little up to my neck, it's rather awesome.

So anyhow, everyone arrives and we're having a blast. We're dancing, playing pool, diving into the pool, some are even trying to skinny dip, which I don't care, more power to them. Most are getting buzzed except for me and DB, we don't drink, both of our dads were alcoholics so we wanted to kill the cycle.

I get a drink of water and I hear the doorbell, so I walk over, open the door, and to my surprise it's Simon. Simon looked ghostly, very, unlike him. Me: "Simon what are you doing here?" Simon: "I uh... are you busy?" Now of course I'm flipping out because I mean... NJ to Conn, something HAS to be wrong. Me: "Come in we're having a costume party." Simon: "Yeah but I don't have one as you can see." Me: "I'll be right back." I run over to DB, let him know that I'm going to the store real quick and I'll be back. I come back out, car keys in hand, grab Simon and we start to head out. Simon: "Wait where are we going?" Me: "You said you needed a costume right?!"
