Glimpses

Glimpses

A Poem by Twenty Degrees

There’s still songs to be sung,
There’s still love to be spent.

I want you here,
But I’m hoping for more.

Give me all your pain,
For all you are worth.

Never leave me behind.

Everything seems to be that much more enjoyable when your with someone else. Very true words :)

Such a creative cry for help. Few words that says about the pain as well as the ecstasy of love. There is a humbleness in this writing, a lust, a fear and a life.

Beautiful work.

P.S I agreed with Softlyfall on the comment on the verb in the first line

Simple and yet powerful. Nice work.

I like this very much and if I have one critique, it is the first line...the verb and subject do not agree (There's = there is....but songs is plural. You need to use There are songs or There's a song)
Much said in few words, very very good.
