Rebekah's Epitaph

Rebekah's Epitaph

A Poem by Twilight Dancer

She traveled many paths,

And loved, cared, and hurt for many souls.

But the greatest love and the most narrow path,

She reserved for God.

This is very beautiful! It is quite a miracle how you describe yourself in only these four lines. Your choice of words reveal more than the central idea alone.
"narrow path" - This says so much. ...Of not only what God and love mean to you, but what life means to you as well.
I loved this piece.

An epitath is usually short, concise and to the point when it comes to describing years upon years of life. I find it almost tragic that we can summerize an entire exisitence in just a couple of short little words connected together through puncuation. I find your poem very moving and a brillant piece seeing that the diction seems so expanded with your word choice seeing that it says so much with almost nothing at all. I did enjoy your work and it proves to be something that's amazing and to be almost reveled in seeing that we're honoring someone at their death by remembering how they lived their own lives.

Such devotion reserved for the great "I Am." A good example of the spirit that resides within.
Lovely thoughts.
