Total Mess

Total Mess

A Poem by James Mckay

It is anyone's guess
That I'm such a total mess
But I'm possessed with this quest
As my chest hurts from which I ingest
Having a hard time to digest
I lie down to rest
And trying to feel blessed
But I feel so restless
And then shower with Zest
Am I in distress or feeling stress
I try to caress but not feeling my best
They do their best to press
But it is pointless
Maybe it's a test
But not at my request
I must confess that I need to invest
As I try to suppress
The fact that I'm a total mess.
