Tx! Hello my name is James and I'm 46. I began writing at an early age and I'm sure most of our poetry started with "Roses are Red", etc.
I'm not sure where my love or desire for poetry came from but somehow the words always found its way onto paper.
I wrote some from time to time and as I got into middle school and high school it would be short spiritual poems or short stories. As I got older and a little more mature, they transcended into something else.
I write about everything and for any occasion. I've done funerals, weddings, and even birthdays. I do write quite a bit of spiritual poem, since I grew up in the church and read many of them during the various holidays in front of the congregation.
I'm not perfect nor do I think I'm Shakespeare or Poe material but I hope my words touch and connect to you somehow. Enjoy them and thank you for taking the time to read them.
