Writing Challenge day 2. Write without using -ing (gerunds)

"
The days flew by as I traveled around the world. I found my passion for art, and the passion has never ceased. My love was no more for those around me. My life was swallowed up by greed after I had begun selling my artwork. People gave me thousands for a single piece of work. They loved it, they loved me. After a while the money was not enough. i wanted more, I needed more. My life felt ruined if I didn't sell anything. In turn I worked all hours of the night, stressing and making everything perfect. I loved the money too much. My art began to suffer. My hopes and dreams died. I needed money, but no one cared, for they had all moved on to the next fad. i tried to regain popularity. Oh, how I tried and tried and tried. My life was in ruins because of greed. Now, my head hangs low as I weep.
