![]() New Born AngelA Poem by Ryan Falzon - TymonWalking down the
weathered path, eying an omen in the
demon sky. A single drop of blood
from up above. He knows, today is the
day he shall die. So he rose, rose up, up
into the devilish sky! No man shall keep him
down from his final moments! Even if it will send him
to eternal torment! He flew, flew among
nature's planes. Others stared in awe, as
he embraced the sky. Tears dropping from the
fear of pain. Creating a beautiful,
sway of rain. He smiled, this is the
day he shall die. Letting go of the
connections to the ground. Ripping himself from all
of the distracting sounds. He grew wings, wings of
pure beautiful light! And he flew; he flew into
the peaceful night. Floating in the waterless
sea on our heads. Millions greeted the moon
from their beds. As they look at the white
angel with his wings. Spreading love, peace,
and calmness of all things. The wings snapped. And he dropped. He fell, fell down from
horrible heights! The people screamed from
the sight! The wings of light faded
into the night. He met the ground with
all of his might. How can an angel with
such delight, give such a horrible
deadly fright? The man's bloodied corpse
stood ahead. It lay still, motionless
and very, very dead. © 2010 Ryan Falzon - TymonAuthor's Note
