Drifts the Wind

Drifts the Wind

A Poem by Erik A. Harris
"

What does a drifting wind bring?

"
drifting day to day,
from shore to branch
from leaf to sand
drifts the wind,
comes to work
comes to play
drifts the wind,
cold as winter
soft as spring
drifts the wind,
salted breath
nectar whiff
drifts the wind,
gently brushing
harshly raking
against the skin
that drifting wind.
