Forsaken

Forsaken

A Poem by Uneek

I wade in the depth
Of life...

Wondering how a soul

Could be so alone

When swimming through a

constant sea

Of bodies?

Searching for that

*Special*

That fills the most desolate

void,

Comforts the coldest night,

Defines the virtue

Of trust.

Wide eyes

Mock my heart-

Open to the perversion

And wickedness

Of them all-

Ready to bleed out

this

                   forsaken

                              destiny.

how to draw a bleeding heart

Id love to, and thanks for your review! Im glad you liked it. :)
Yep, many of us have been there, alone in the crowd. I tried to express it in poetry but in terms of hope. You did better than I at capturing the feeling in the moment rather than the future, that moment when it's pretty hard to find hope.
