Palle Juul Pallesen

Palle Juul Pallesen

A Poem by Justin Flume

Torn apart by the sudden apartheid in my mind..

Giving in to the mental rape that possesses me to write..

Falling face first into the people that are kind..

Letting them slowly kill the small piece of me that’s left..

This segregation is all that I can suddenly find..

The ugly is back

Feels stronger than ever

It skullfucks me up until

The point where blood start dripping

Gives me the Cleveland steamer extraordinaire

After that just starts chili dogging the s**t out me

And when I’m down it beats me repetitively just for the hell of it

This is my disease

This is what I carry

This is my reality

See a doctor, get a medical check-up then try some new diet, vitamins and food supplements. Check for allergies. If it is as serious as you suggest you'll want to set aside anything pathological before delving into the psychological.

Want to talk about this, Palle?
Or should I mind my own business??

Wow. Powerful description in this poem. I had to read again for the strength of the statements. Ugly can lead us to dark places and good poetry. I like the way you ended this outstanding poem.
