Unbroken Ears.

Unbroken Ears.

A Poem by WriteWriter
"

Poem 467. About my hearing aids and how I feel about knowing that I can't hear things that the average person can hear.

"
When I was younger
It seemed like such a burden
It seemed like too much
To carry on my shoulders.

They always said
That I was a good kind of different
But I never felt that way.

I always felt like
I wasn't normal
Because I wasn't
And I'm still not normal.

I will never be normal
I will never be like them
I will never understand
The things they hear with
Unbroken ears.

WriteWriter
Again tell me what you think, this is how I feel about my hearing since I have worn hearing aids since I was about 3 years old.
