Erase Your Name.

Erase Your Name.

A Poem by WriteWriter
"

Poem 581. About this guy I loved and lost.

"
Even the walls are crying
As I erase your name
From the heart inside of me
You really can't complain.

I opened myself up
And shared with you
My darkest secrets
And you blew me off anyway.

I know you didn't mean to
But that doesn't replace the fact
That I told you everything
And you never gave me anything.

Even the sky
Has gone cloudy
Even if this isn't
A true heartbreak.

Because I don't know
Who you are anymore
I thought I did
When you opened the door.

But when I stepped in
And the doors closed
I realized that you are not
Who I thought you were.

So I'll let the walls scream
As simple as my utter cry
As I take the other end
And erase your name.
