Mine Not Yours

Mine Not Yours

A Poem by Serena Kaye
"

It all comes out "Mom"

"

They tell us to love,

To never let the right one go,

To be with whom you want,

To not let anyone tell you who to be with,

Oh f**k,

Didn’t you just do the opposite of that all?

You’re telling me it’s not him,

Your telling me don’t be with him,

You’re telling me to be with someone else,

Wait a moment!

I don’t care what you say!

It is him!

I will be with him!

I only want him!

S**t you’re fucked,

My life,

My love,

My want,

My forever,

Shut up,

You don’t know,

Know what’s good for me,

What I need,

What I want,

Ha,

Nope you don’t,

He’s good for me,

He’s what I need,

He’s What I Want,

Bye B***h,

You were never a mother to me,

Don't be mean, I just needed to get some anger out from my "Mother".
Sorry if it offends anyone. Forgive me.

This is perfectly accurate to one side of my life right now; so long as you turn all the "he's" to "she's". I love this poem, it expresses a sorrow that everyone could feel. The refusal to let go and the strength tI hang on forever. Good job!
