Thank You My Love

It's been a while since I've written a poem. It's not that great. Sorry guys! >.<

You took me in when I was broken

You fixed every fiber of me

Being loved like this

It's so new to me

You make me whole

You make me feel wanted.

My heart beats just for you

It skips a bit whenever I think of you

Your name sends shivers down my body.

Your kisses are as sweet as sugar 

Your heart is as pure as can be

The best thing is

You are mine

I am yours.

Help me write a love story?

One with a happy ending

But we are know

We have to go through hardships 

To get what we want.

I am not perfect 

But I can promise you this

I will try my hardest to make you smile

I want to be there for you when you cry

So I can hold you close to my chest

To let you know everything is going to be fine.

If you can protect me

Then I can protect you

The world can throw any challenges to us

But if we are together

We can overcome them.

Thank you my love

The scars are fading because of you.

This made me think of how a relationship works when you said, "If you can protect me, then I can protect you. The world can throw any challenge to us but if we are together we can overcome them." People are always saying that a guy has to protect a girl in their relationship, forgetting that a relationship works both ways. One person can't be doing one thing by themselves, expecting the other to do their own thing. People forget that girls can protect boys too and they should because not only girls need protecting. It's just a stereotype. But this was a sweet poem. It describes how love should be and I congratulate you for conveying emotion in this poem. Good job!
