Fairytales Are For Little Children

Fairytales Are For Little Children

A Poem by Unloved_kitty
"

You broke a little girl's dream

"

My heart beats twice as fast,

Whenever I see your face,

My mind thinks i'm stupid,

He hurt me so many times,

Yet I still want him,

I still love him.

I can never say I hate you,

Cause beneath all that hate,

I still love you,

Even through all the emotional abuse,

My heart beats for you.

Oh you know my feelings for you,

But you never say a thing about them,

You know I love you,

But I know you don't love me.

Why can't my body forget your touch,

So warm, so safe,

I felt as I was being protected,

In your arms,

Like you were a prince,

and I was your princess.

Now lets end this story,

The story I thought was my fairytale,

You broke my heart too many times,

Now all I can do is peice it together,

While your there loving another girl,

I'm left all alone again,

Alone in this scary cruel world.

Fairytales are for little children
I'm a big girl now
I know they don't happen in real life.

That was really emotional and sad and i really felt too much on that one. It really kinda of reminded me of a girlfriend i once had. I kinda can relate to this and thats why i really enjoyed it. But i hope that isn't how u really feel. Im not like gay or anything or in anyway an emotional person. But i really think fairytales are for everyone. Keep writing cuz this is too good to be true.

it flows quite well and i like strength of description of the emotions in the poem it makes them seem more real and deeper.
