You Are Mean

You Are Mean

A Poem by Unloved_kitty
"

A poem about a friend of mine =]

"
You've grown up,
You're like an adult now,
I'm upset cause I miss the young you,
So naive and so cute,
Yet I am happy cause you are mature,
Mature enough to know what is right,
And what is wrong.

My good friend who I love,
And hate,
I love you cause you are my friend,
I hate you cause you're mean,
A mean, mean person,
You are so tall,
Yet I am so short,
I will grow one day,
Just not yet.

You're nice sometimes,
But mainly mean,
Maybe this is your way of being kind.

I will steal one of your hoodies,
Whenever I see you,
And most definitely, I will bite you,
Maybe this is our twisted way of,
Showing our friendship.

Even though you are mean,
You're still one of my good friends,
I hope our crazy, twisted,
Friendship will last for a long time.

You are mean,
But so am I,
Lets continue this weird friendship.

You better not forget your promise,
The hugs I get every day.

I like this poem a lot. Good friends and laughter is needed in a life. You told a tale of a very good friendship. I like the story and the ending. The poem had happiness and good spirit in the words. A positive poem. A excellent poem. Thank you.
