Hah! If only...

If I was a mushroom...

     It'd still be my fault.

If I was the sky...

     I would take up too much room.

If I was a painter...

     They'd rip up my work.

If I was homeless...

     I would be stepped on.

If I was a scholar...

     They'd tear me down.

If I was the water...

     I'd be spit out.

If I was wine...

     I'd be traded for beer.

If I was the grass...

     Dogs would pee on me

If I was right...

     I'd still be wrong.

If I was was loved...

     I would be used and abused.

If I was emotional...

     They would "toughen" me up.

If I was me...

     All this wouldn't change...

So tell me who I should be.
