Bridges Fall, Hearts Break

Here we are again.

You say sorry,

While I'm ready to die.

The cliff in my mind,

gets closer,

While me and you,

fall apart.

I look down the edge of the cliff.

And as I look, I think,

You better be prepared

to make a decision,

Because the day will come,

and you'll be faced,

With the consequences of my decision.

So,

Will you stand and watch,

Or try to save me,

When I decide to,

One can take this as the discussion or the thoughts shared between two lovers, one decided and one undecided - the indecision of the one causing such feelings of indecision in the other; and from that angle, one might think that life and death should not hinge upon such thoughts - but that is the nature of love, is it not? That depth of meaning...

Yet still, one could take this as well - to be that inner dialogue - as one contemplates their own life - the actions they must take, those choices they must make... and equally well here, one can follow the path of the thought as it flows...
