Darkness

Darkness

A Poem by West Coast
"

just a sad little poem

"

It truly is awful

How no one knows how bad it gets inside my head

And I want to tell them

                But they never understand

“Just be happy” they say, “It’s all in your head”

Yes, I know I should be happy, but I can’t. And it’s impossible to escape your own mind

So I just sit in my room, alone

Waiting for the day where I can’t take the darkness, the loneliness and the fear anymore

And that day I will fall asleep

                And never wake up

So don’t give me your bullshit advice

Just stand by my side and hold my hand and help me through this

The worst thing you could do now is leave
