"Hope

"Hope

A Poem by Valentine

              "Hope"
Weep not for me, when I go;
It will hurt, this I know.
Look toward Heaven, with a smile,
Remember me...once in a while.

Please do not grieve for me,
Just be happy...and always be,
Full of hope...and tenderness;
Touch the world, let it be blessed.

If you should...think of me;
Know I am as happy, for God I see.
Hold your tears...and just thank fate;
I found the Lord, before...it was too late.

Touching! I lost many of my dear ones in childhood. My mother always use to make me see at the sky and we use to name the stars with each of those dear ones name.

There is such a blessed hope in heaven's light that is to come, this eternal dawning. You say it so beautifully, and alleviate the pain that so often comes with losing someone. We must realize there is so much more to come.

This brought tears to my eyes. Tomorrow night begins the Jewish New Year and there are so many people who will not be round our holiday table this year. We remember them....and hope they are watching. Lydi***

Wow! This is a very good poetry that does well to encourage faith in the lord and an assurance of heaven. Your poem undermine the power of death if we really know where we are heading at the end of ones life journey. Well done.

'.. Touch the world, let it be blessed.'

A beautiful sadness, this poem. Fine words, sweet thoughts, a lasting and personal memorial for the woman you are. And, because of that, believe me, you'll be remembered as someone who cared. The Lord welcomes with open arms as we mere crazy human beings say 'farewell, luv.'
