Enough

I have to get away

This pain is too much

I've suffered for years

Your yelling, screaming, throwing

 

You've kept here as a prisoner

One to torment

To tease

Every single arguement

I cannot win

Because either way I'm stuck here

With you on your thrown

With the whip that strikes my back

 

I have to get away

The torture is too much

I've suffered for years

Your hitting, kicking, attacking

 

I can't see my friends

You make it impossible to have them over

I fear you would do to them what you do to me

Not caring that you have no claim over them

 

I've had enough.

And now i've packed my bags.

And i'm gone.

A powerful poem. I could feel the desire to escape. The pain of being push around and abuse was strong in your words. I like the ending. Sometime better to run then stay and accept more pain. A excellent poem.

I'm not sure what the exact situation is here but no one should be treated this way ever. This poem is raw with emotion tell a story of abuse on all levels. I hope the situation is better and that the abuse has not continued.
